My Spectacular Birthday

Dear Friends,

 

Last Saturday was my bday (20 Nov). This year I had chosen to have a spectacular bday.
My birthday this year was double bithday as my birthdate using western calender and Indian calender fall on the same day. (This is a rare combination).

My bday celebration actually started one week back as my middle sister Falguni n her son had come to us and my youngest sister alpa decided to join the family along with her husband.

It was made more joyous by presence of my cousin bharti and my very very special niece Shardhha. Ofcourse my dad is always there. Alpa made special cake for me (this was made after lots of years as i used to prefer other sweets for birthday but i missed cakes as my sisters no longer celebrate their birthday or 31 dec here at my home now when we used to make cake.) This was very special for me,.

 

On the day of my bday, a day before got a very warm email greeting cards from bhartididi in USA and couple of friends, the fun started 5 minutes before 12 am at night where one of my nephews from nimach called me up while his brother sent me my first sms message. Before that couple of friends had wished me orkut, facebook and on email. Then my sister Alpa and her family called me. In the morning I got up early as i wanted to meditate at the time of my birth which is 6.19 am, and just when my meditation was about to get over, my very close friend sulbha called me up at 6.30am to start the amazing day.

 

I was amazing to get lots of calls, smss, wall posts n orkut scraps on my special day.

 

One of my bhabhi called and sang me happy birthday.,... Thanks swatibhabhi.

 

Last but not at all the least, i got the one and only card from one of my very special friend Sunita and the cutest and best gift and one and only gift I got from her daughter Swati. This is a very special gift not only because it is THE ONLY gift i got but also because it was a very small cute teddy bear which she had won as a price and wanted to gift it as a present to me. WOW this was amazing gift from a six year old. I was so much moved. Still I am promised one gift from her elder sister who was not able to make a gift for me and was so unhappy that i felt touched. Infact today she called me told me she will get the gift tomorrow so Shruti, I am awaiting your gift eagarly and i know I will love it the most like your sisters. Sunita and family love you all for just being yourself.  and thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

 

Finally the last birthday call I got was from London from my one of very special close friend Rashmi....

 

 

It was a very wonderful day. Thank GOD for giving me such a spectacular day where lots of my family and friends wished me, greeted me, made me feel special.

 

I am really grateful to all people who love me for what I am. Thank you.
